Dr. Omolola (Lola) Adetona

Meet Dr. Omolola (Lola) Adetona

Omolola was raised in Nigeria, West Africa and graduated dental school at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She spent an additional year at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, completing an internship in general dentistry. In 1998, she relocated to the US And worked as a dental assistant in a pediatric dental practice while working on fulfilling her requirements to acquire a license to practice in the United States. In 2004, Omolola became a Pediatric Dentist at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, after which she joined the faculty as an Assistant Professor in the same department.

During her time at UTHSCSA, she became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and also earned a certificate of Forensic Odontology. She is a consultant in both pediatric and forensic dentistry with a special interest in child abuse and neglect. Prior joining Inspire Dental, she owned her own pediatric dentistry practice in San Antonio, Texas and is grateful for every moment she had with her kids and their families. She is a wife and mother of two who enjoys her quiet time, worship sessions, national park themed road trips with her family and puzzles. Her faith in God and manifestation of her salvation through Christ, however, is what she hopes defines her the most.
